best known in the UK for radio-controlled watches (called atomic watches
in the USA). Junghans invented the RC clock in 1985, the first solar-powered
clock in 1986, and the first RC wristwatch in 1990. The Avantgarde Worldtimer
represents the pinnacle of radio-controlled watch development.
Junghans also have a new range of mechanical and automatic watches made
to the most exacting standards in classic styles. This is known as the
Arthur Junghans range. Each model has a glass back to show the detailed
workmanship, decorated with blued screws and a Geneva stripe finish. As
an authorised dealer we work closely with Junghans to make these watches
available to our clients.
